These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ToneTranslator application ("App") and related services provided by ToneTranslator ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal or professional use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App.
ToneTranslator offers optional paid subscription plans ("Pro" and "Max") that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple App Store or Google Play and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings at any time. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.
Pro plan: €8.99/month. Max plan: €17.99/month. Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout and may vary by region.
Pro subscriptions include a 3-day free trial for new subscribers. The free trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@tonetranslator.tech if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree not to use the App to translate, generate, or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
All content, trademarks, and technology within the App are owned by or licenced to ToneTranslator. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property other than the limited licence in Section 1.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that translations are accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use translations at your own discretion.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ToneTranslator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Munich, Germany.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
